Convection and conduction, has some really good demonstrations. For convection take a very large clear plastic container and put a hotplate on one end and on the other end put a container full of ice. Play around with it a little to get a convection current going. The way to visualize this is with bubbles. For conduction the best one I’ve seen is the commercially available “star rod” with about five different metals coming from a central joint. Put wax on all the ends. Then heat the center joint with a Bunsen burner. Watch the wax melt at different rates. Hold the steel one in your hand immediately afterword. It’s not hot!
